ESIC Course Description
Prerequisites
Participant must have a valid Standard First Aid certification.
Physical Test: Students must be physically able to lift and lower a 40kg weight in a safe and controlled manner.
Completion Requirements
Successfully demonstrate the required EMR skills
Minimum 75% mark for written, closed book, knowledge evaluation
Successfully complete two evaluated scenarios (one medical and one trauma)
Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Emergency Medical Responder & BLS
This is a 80-120 hour course. Certification valid for 3 years. Students are eligable 1 year after the last day of class for BC EMALB Licensing.
Includes both teaching time, dedicated practice and exams.
